Terms of service
Last updated 21 October 2026
These terms govern your use of TheTranzit. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind that company.
The service
TheTranzit is a field sales platform: a product catalogue, a customer list, order placement, visit tracking and the reporting built on top of them. We provide it on a subscription basis to the company named on the account.
We may change how the service works as we improve it. Where a change materially reduces what the service does, we will tell the account administrator before it takes effect.
Accounts and access
An account is created for a company, and that company decides who may use it. Each user signs in with their own phone number and one-time code.
- Keep sign-in details to yourself; anyone with the phone and the code can act as you.
- Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been accessed by someone who should not have it.
- The account administrator is responsible for adding and removing their own users.
Your data
The products, customers, orders and visits you record stay yours. We process them to run the service for you, and we do not sell them or use them to advertise to anyone.
You are responsible for having the right to hold the customer details you enter, and for the accuracy of what you record.
Our handling of personal data is described in the privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to do any of the following.
- Break the law, or help someone else do so.
- Upload malware, or try to break, overload or probe the service for weaknesses without our written permission.
- Reverse engineer the service, or resell access to it without an agreement with us.
- Store personal data you have no lawful basis to hold.
Fees
Paid plans are billed in advance on the cycle agreed with you. Fees are exclusive of taxes, which are added where applicable. [Billing cycle, notice period and refund terms to be confirmed.]
If an invoice goes unpaid, we may suspend access after giving notice to the account administrator.
Availability
We work to keep the service running and available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where we can.
[Any committed uptime target belongs in a separate service level agreement and is not promised here.]
Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service and close the account at any time. We may end the agreement if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, or if fees go unpaid after notice.
After an account closes, you may ask us to export your data. We keep it for a limited period and then delete it. [Retention window to be confirmed.]
Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits or lost data, and each side’s total liability is capped at the fees paid in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and we will tell the account administrator about material changes before they take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of [city] have exclusive jurisdiction. [To be confirmed.]
